Job Title: Order Administrator
Location: Margate
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm with ½ hour lunch, Friday 8am - 12pm
Annual leave: 25 days + 8 Bank holidays
Your key responsibilities as an Order Administrator would be to:
Keep customers updated throughout the resolution process of any issues raised
Process customer orders using their in house system
Participate in cross-training to ensure seamless customer service during colleague absences
Respond to customer queries via email and phone in a timely and efficient manner
Update pricing details on product records
Provide effective administration support to internal teams and customers
Collaborate with Sales representatives and other departments to communicate new orders
Update and maintain the sales order book
Manage and handle incoming calls
Update customer records
Process sales orders and ensure timely despatch
Handle emails and general inquiries through the website
Manage inbound and outbound communication related to orders
Update and maintain various company databases
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operationsRequirements:
Polite manner and excellent telephone support skills when dealing with customers
Previous sales administration experience is preferred
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
